It was a sort of paranoia, friends become enemies, that sort of thing, Only once it got bad you started seeing things, or hearing them. ...At least one person I can think of ended up tearing out their throat.

It's not just you mate, the brotherhhod just looks out for each other, even if in this case it'd be a terrible idea. I'd be saying the same thing to Lucy or Rebecca, possibly even Desmond.

What he wants to do sounds good, but honestly he could go either way, that and he's young, those idealistic dreams of his could go sour as he gets older. Not that it matters to our world, but if any Templars show up here it could turn out bad for us, and also I wouldn't want to set him lose on a world where nobody can keep an eye on him. On the other hand, he does want to work on the corruption in the church, and a Borgia who doesn't want to exploit everyone would be a nice change of pace.

And I figured that you knew, which is why I said it. He's young, he made a mistake, and I think he feels guilty about it, which is a sight better than I'd expect out of the one from our world. On the other hand he needs to work on that lovely bit of programming his father put into him and stop using everyone he knows, including himself.

-Don't ever say that you know about that to him, it's a big one, and he'll become defensive, fast.
